THE APPROACH

Research first. Introductions when they make sense.

Real commercial need → research → verify → match → protect → introduce. Each step can reveal a reason to stop, change direction or ask a better question.

THE WORKING PRINCIPLES

01

Research first

I try to understand the actual commercial requirement before approaching anybody.

02

Evidence over claims

A company saying it manufactures something is a starting point. I check what I can and mark what still needs direct confirmation.

03

No forced matches

If the supplier looks wrong, I’ll say it. A weak introduction wastes time on both sides.

04

Protect both sides

I don’t spray valuable buyer information around. The commercial basis for an introduction should be clear before disclosure.

05

Stay in my lane

Acorn researches and introduces. Technical specialists, buyers and suppliers make technical and contractual decisions.

06

Written first

Email and written information make a clearer record and usually save everybody time. We can speak when it helps.

The supplier is the supplier.

Acorn is neither a reseller nor a technical consultancy. The manufacturer or supplier handles specifications, advice, certification, quotation, manufacturing, quality, logistics, contracts and warranties. The buyer decides whether the product and supplier are suitable.
